BOOK SIGNING WITH GW PROFESSOR JIM GOLDGEIER
Elliott School Professor Jim Goldgeier will be signing his new book 11/9 to 9/11: America Between the Wars at the Ivy Bookshop. Along with fellow foreign policy analyst Derek Chollet, Goldgeier follows how the years between the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Twin Towers shaped the events, arguments, and politics of the world we live in today. This is the first book that examines these years as a distinct and decisive era in American history.

Saturday, June 21
1 - 3 p.m.
Ivy Bookshop
6080 Falls Road
Baltimore, Md.

At the Elliott School, Professor Goldgeier teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in U.S. foreign policy and theories of international relations. He is the author of Leadership Style and Soviet Foreign Policy (John Hopkins, 1994), which received the Edgar Furniss book award in national and international security, and Not Whether But When: The U.S. Decision to Enlarge NATO (Brookings, 1999). The book signing is free and open to all alumni.
