ART GALLERIES OF NEWBURY STREET – A WALKING TOUR FOR GW ALUMNI
Join fellow GW alumni for an afternoon of art, as we tour four galleries along Newbury Street. GW alumnus Marylou Clark, CCAS MA '67, will lead the group from gallery to gallery and answer questions along the way. Clark is adjunct professor of art at Quincy College and studied French literature and language at GW as well as painting at the Museum of Fine Arts. We will visit Gallery Naga, Axelle Fine Arts, Copley Society, and The Guild of Boston Artists, and a representative from each gallery will guide us through an explanation of their current exhibit, with details on the artists.

Saturday, May 17
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Tour Meeting Location:
The Lobby of the Taj Hotel
15 Arlington Street
Boston, Mass.

The cost is $10 and includes the walking tour and all galleries. After the first two galleries, there will be a mid-day break for lunch and refreshments, which is not included in the cost of the event. Space is very limited, so please register your attendance in advance.
