GW Baseball Wins in Inaugural Game at WAshington Nationals New Stadium

GW Baseball pounded 19 hits and rode the arm of freshman Eric Cantrell (Oakton, VA/Oakton) to a 9-4 victory over Saint Joseph’s on March 22, in the first ever game played at Nationals Park, Major League Baseball's newest stadium and home to the Washington Nationals. GW Board of Trustees Chairman W. Russell Ramsey, BBA ’81, a former Colonials baseball standout, threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
