RESCHEDULED: DECISION 2008 – A DISCUSSION WITH PROFESSOR STEVE ROBERTS
The Chicago Alumni Chapter invites you to attend a political discussion with Professor Steve Roberts of GW's School of Media and Public Affairs. Just weeks after the Illinois primaries, Professor Roberts will lead a discussion on what's ahead in this monumental election year.

As the Shapiro Professor of Media and Public Affairs at GW, Roberts lectures widely on American politics and the role of the news media. He has been a journalist for 40 years, covering some of the major events of his time, from the antiwar movement and student revolts of the 60s and 70s to President Reagan's historic trip to Moscow in 1988 and nine presidential election campaigns. A well-known commentator on many Washington-based TV shows, Roberts also appears regularly on the ABC radio network, co-hosts NPR’s America Abroad, substitute hosts on NPR’s Diane Rehm Show, and writes, along with his wife Cokie Roberts, a nationally-syndicated newspaper column for USA Weekend.
