More than 100 people attended the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter’s panel and networking reception February 12 to discuss the entertainment industry. The event, “Making Your Mark in the Entertainment Industry: Personal Tales from the Front Lines,” featured prominent alumni in the industry including Jon Helmrich, BA ’80, president and CEO of International Broadcast Communications and founding father of E! Entertainment; Katie Jacobs, BA ’83, executive producer of House M.D.; Roy Lee, BA ’91, executive producer of The Departed and The Ring franchise; and Richard Weitz, BA ’91, partner at Endeavor Talent Agency.
