RECEPTION FOR GW ALUMNI IN DUBAI
On behalf of the George Washington Alumni Association, you are cordially invited to join Rachelle Heller, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Mount Vernon Campus Director of the Elizabeth Somers Women's Leadership Program, for a Reception for Alumni in Dubai, hosted by Rama Chakaki, SEAS BS ’90, MS ’97, CEO of The Baraka Group. Dr. Heller will give an update on the University.

Dr. Heller is a professor of computer science in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and co-editor of Computers & Education: An International Journal. Dr. Heller previously served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Engineering and Applied Science from 1997 to 2002. In addition to her many duties as associate dean, Dr. Heller has been an invited speaker at many national and international conferences over the past twenty years. She served as the key note speaker at the Women's Empowerment Workshop: For Women by Women in Tripoli, Libya in September 2005 and will participate in a student leadership conference entitled Women as Global Leaders in Dubai during her visit.

In addition to this opportunity to hear from Dr. Heller, we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow graduates and friends, and extend the lifelong and worldwide community of GW alumni.
