The "How Do I Become A..." lecture series is a popular program designed to bring distinguished alumni to GW to speak to the University community. The program, sponsored by the George Washington Alumni Association, the Career Center and Class Council, is offering the following lectures in February, March, and April:

HOW DO I BECOME A NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY ADVISER?
Brendan Shields, CCAS BA ’98, will discuss his national security experiences and background. Currently, he is the Director for Response Policy at the White House Homeland Security Council. Prior, Shields served at the Departments of Homeland Security and State where he focused on domestic and international security issues. He began his career working on Capital Hill while attending GW.

HOW DO I BECOME A NETWORK TV PRODUCER?
What are the skills that a top producer needs? Join Mary Ann Zoellner, CCAS BA ’91, and find out, as she shares her experiences working as a producer for the number one rated morning show, NBC's Today. While in college she worked for CNN’s Larry King Live and then moved to New York for a job at MSNBC. She is currently at work on her first book, called Today's Moms.

HOW DO I BECOME A CHIEF COUNSEL OF THE FDA?
Spend an evening with Sheldon Bradshaw, LAW JD ’96, former Chief Counsel of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As Chief Counsel, Sheldon was responsible for providing legal advice on issues related to drugs, medical devices, food, animal feed and drugs, cosmetics, dietary supplements and other products regulated under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the Public Health Service Act.
