The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts chose GW's Luther W. Brady Art Gallery as one of the college or university art galleries that will receive a large gift of approximately 150 original Polaroid photographs and prints by renowned artist Andy Warhol. The gift from the Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program includes 28,543 original Warhol photographs valued at more than $28 million. The gift will be divided between 183 colleges and universities.

The Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program has given away more than $200 million in cash grants and art donations in the last 20 years.
