PRESIDENT STEVEN KNAPP KICKS OFF INTERNATIONAL TOUR WITH VISIT TO GW ALUMNI IN ASIA

Fresh off his Inauguration, GW President Steven Knapp set off for Asia to speak and mingle with alumni, students, and friends of the University in Korea and China. A reception in honor of Knapp’s inaugural year took place earlier today in Seoul. The president will continue on to Beijing on Dec. 8 and Hong Kong on Dec. 10.

For more information about GW’s Asia connections, read “From Asia to America,” by Shawn McHale, GW associate professor of history and international affairs, in the Fall 2007 GW Magazine.

President Knapp will hop across the pond for visits with alumni in London and Paris in January 2008.

The New Year will bring more domestic events, as President Knapp will travel across the United States to meet with and hear from GW alumni, including an event Feb. 13, 2008, in South Florida. Stay tuned for more details about events with President Knapp in your region.
