President Steven Knapp formed a presidential task force on sustainability last month to evaluate the University’s existing practices and make recommendations for improving GW’s academic and administrative initiatives.

The task force made up of students, faculty, and staff will focus on areas such as energy conservation, resource and waste management, sustainability awareness, and research programs. It is scheduled to issue a report in June 2008.
