The year 2008 marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the first fraternity at Columbian College, and Greek Life is beginning to make plans to celebrate that milestone. To assist in our planning for the sesquicentennial, Greek Life is looking for information that will help us tell the story of fraternities and sororities over the past 150 years. We are seeking photographs, artifacts, stories, and other memorabilia from your fraternity or sorority experiences at GW. We would be happy to scan any photos and return them to you. We also are pleased to accept any artifacts or photos that you would be willing to donate to the GW archives.
Please send any materials you would like to share to:
Greek Life
800 21st St. NW, #427
Washington, DC 20052
Or send artifacts to the GW Alumni Association. If you have any scanned pictures, or would like to share a story via e-mail, please send them to greeks@gwu.edu. As you are reviewing your pictures, please try to identify as many individuals as possible.
Thanks for your help. Look for details on the Greek Life Sesquicentennial celebration later this year.
