NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC IN THE PARK – TONIGHT!
Join the New York Regional Alumni Chapter for a concert in Central Park.  Gather on the Great Lawn to listen to the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Ludovic Morlot.  The concert is followed by a fireworks display.

GW will provide some snacks and we suggest that you bring your own drinks and goodies as well a blanket.  There is no charge for this event, but please register so that we can get a headcount.  The concert will begin at 8 p.m. To ensure that the group can sit together, please arrive no later than 7 p.m.   As we get closer to the event date, final details regarding the meeting location will be sent to the e-mail address used when registering.  For more information on the concert, click here.

GW PRIVATE RECEPTION HONORING GW ANNUAL FUND DONORS AT TAVERN ON THE GREEN IN NYC
Join fellow GW alumni for a reception honoring our donors. Steve Roberts, GW’s Shapiro Professor of Media and Public Affairs, will be the featured speaker.  Roberts has been a journalist for more than 35 years covering major events from the antiwar movement to nine presidential election campaigns. Roberts, who worked with the New York Times for 25 years, will speak about the changes he has witnessed at GW over the past 16 years and the role of the media in politics (includes Q&A).
