A-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament ticket packages are now available for purchase through the Office of Alumni Programs. The George Washington Colonials are leading the Atlantic-10 Conference, and you won’t want to miss these games!

The tournament runs from March 7-10, 2007 at historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The ticket packages include every game of the tournament, and the cost is $140 per package.
After you have purchased your tickets through this site, you will receive a confirmation of your order. Ticket distribution will be determined shortly. Additionally, GW is planning a pre-game reception for Thursday, March 8 – keep your eye on upcoming issues of the Colonial Cable and the Regional Round Up for details.

at Fox and Hound to watch upcoming basketball games. There’s
no cost for this event and no need to register – just bring your
Colonial pride. When you arrive, look for your fellow GW alumni
dressed in buff and blue.

rival St. Joe’s! Join your fellow GW alumni for a pre-game tailgate
at McShea’s restaurant in Narbeth, then head over to Alumni Memorial
Fieldhouse for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

KING TUT AT THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE
The GW Alumni Association is proud
to present Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Please join
us as Eric Cline, chair of the department of classical and Semitic
languages and literatures, and GW associate professor of classics and
anthropology, presents a closer look at King Tut and Egyptian archeology.
After the lecture and lunch, guests will walk over to the Franklin
Institute to view the King Tut exhibit.
The exhibit includes 50 major objects excavated from Tutankhamun’s tomb, including his royal diadem and one of the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his mummified internal organs.
