Join fellow GW alumni for an evening of wine education with The Wine School of Philadelphia.

Cheer on the GW Men’s Basketball team as they take on Atlantic 10 rival St. Joe’s! Join your fellow GW alumni for a pre-game tailgate at McShea's restaurant in Narbeth, then head over to Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

The cost for this event is $15 and includes your ticket and appetizers at the pre-game reception. It is a cash bar. Tickets will be available for pick up during the tailgate, until 30 minutes before tip-off, after which they will be available at St. Joe’s Will Call. Tickets are limited, so register today to reserve your spot!

Already have tickets to the game? You can still attend the pre-game party for $5 per person!  

KING TUT AT THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE SCIENCE MUSEUM
The GW Alumni Association is proud to present Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Please join us as Eric Cline, chair of the department of classical and Semitic languages and literatures, and GW associate professor of classics and anthropology, presents a closer look at King Tut and Egyptian archeology. After the lecture and lunch, guests will walk over to the Franklin Institute to view the King Tut exhibit.

The exhibit includes 50 major objects excavated from Tutankhamun’s tomb, including his royal diadem and one of the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his mummified internal organs.

The cost is $35 per person and includes lunch, the lecture and an exhibit ticket. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the lecture beginning at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are limited, so please register to reserve a space.
