The GW Alumni Flag Football team kicked off the 2006 CAN Season with a win over the University of Tennessee on September 23. In their fourth season, the team has integrated their core group of veterans with talented and skillful newcomers. After two consecutive 8-2 seasons, GW is off to a 4-0 start behind two impressive come-from-behind victories over traditional CAN powerhouses, the University of Virginia and Clemson University. With alumni ranging from the class of ’88 through the class of '06, this is the strongest team the Colonials have fielded since their inception. Led by coaches Aaron Brachman, Amit Shashidarian, and Lisa Pagano, the team has their sights set on the 2006 CAN Championship.
