COLONIALS WEEKEND A SUCCESS

During Colonials Weekend 2006 (Oct. 20 – 22), alumni, parents, and friends of the University gathered to share memories and reconnect with former classmates during GW’s annual celebration.

The Weekend started off with a lively kick-off party at Alumni House, which was attended by many alumni of all ages. On Saturday, graduates of the Law and Medical Schools as well as alumni from the undergraduate classes of 1956, 1976, 1981, and 2001 celebrated their reunions and revisited old friends. Other highlights of the Weekend included an open Conversation with President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg, family fun at Octoberfest, and the Dean’s breakfasts, where attendees discussed GW’s present and future directions. In all, the Weekend’s events enjoyed high attendance, exemplifying alumni’s continued commitment and connection to GW.
