CELEBRATE YOUR REUNION DURING COLONIALS WEEKEND

If you are in the Classes of 2001, 1996, 1981, 1976, or 1956, your Reunion is only weeks away. Hundreds of your classmates have already committed to a wonderful time.  In addition to your class party on Saturday night, there are numerous activities available to you.

  • Hear an exclusive interview with President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg on the state of GW and higher education.
  • Participate in eight GW lectures during Classes Without Quizzes, to include “Science is Your Life” (Nicolae Filipescu), “Is there a Real Estate Bubble?” (Richard Green), and “Cities and Immigrants: Exploring the World’s 21st Century Gateways” (Marie Price).
  • Take a hayride, watch a pie-eating contest, and listen to student bands at Octoberfest.
  • Meet your fellow alumni from all classes at the Reunion Kick-off party, with live bluegrass music and delicious BBQ.
  • Watch the award-winning film “Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont,” with questions and answers by the screenwriter, Ruth Caplin.
  • Bid on exciting items at a Silent Auction.
  • See how the GW campus has changed during a “Then and Now” tour.

Reunions only come once-in-a-buff-and-blue-moon, so register now! Register online at www.alumni.gwu.edu/cw or call (202) 994-6596 with questions. If you would like to reach out to a particular classmate, let us know.

If you are in the Classes of 2002, 1997, 1982, 1977, 1967, or 1957, your Reunion is one year away. We are currently seeking committee members who are dedicated to making their Reunion monumental! If you would like to nominate yourself or a classmate for this task, please e-mail kaufteil@gwu.edu or call (202) 994-6596.
