CALLING ALL ALUMNI IN THE FOREIGN SERVICE

Delta Phi Epsilon, a professional foreign-service fraternity, has been re-established at GW. The Eta chapter of the fraternity was chartered at GW in 1929 and remained active until 1969. In the spring of 2004, the chapter was successfully re-chartered, and throughout the 2005-2006 academic year, 21 new members were initiated. The chapter is very excited to begin its second year of events and programming this fall.

Throughout this semester Delta Phi Epsilon will host a series of lectures on a variety of foreign affairs topics. Speakers will include U.S. and foreign government officials, members of Congress, think-tank analysts, and GW professors. All alumni in the Washington, D.C. area are invited and encouraged to attend these events.

The chapter is actively seeking to re-connect with alumni of the fraternity, as well as any alumni involved in the Foreign Service or any other form of international work. For more information on alumni involvement and to learn about events organized by the chapter, please contact Elliot Gillerman, Eta Chapter President, at ejg@gwu.edu.
