The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) has selected John M. Logsdon as the 2006 Barry M. Goldwater Educator of the Year. Director of GW’s Space Policy Institute, Logsdon is honored with this award for his years of dedicated service, and for his efforts in preparing young professionals to be future leaders of the space community in government and industry. Logsdon will be honored in April at the AIAA’s Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala in Washington, D.C.
