GWS AVIATION SAFETY AND SECURITY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The GW Aviation Safety and Security Certificate Program enables you to learn how to develop and administer an effective safety and security program from top industry, academic, and government experts. The program covers regulations, security and risk management, accident investigation, and more.

Required Courses (Each required course is two days and grants one credit on a Pass/Fail basis, except Independent Case Study):

· Introduction to Aviation Safety & Security (May 8-9)
· Safety Data Management and Analysis (May 12-13)
· Independent Case Study (six credits)

Electives (Each elective course is two days and grants one credit on a Pass/Fail basis):

· International Aviation Security (May 10-11)
· Aviation Law (May 15-16)
· Airline Operations (May 17-18)

Students may register for the entire program to receive six graduate level credits or may take a particular course of interest. For more information, visit our website.
