ELLIOTT SCHOOL DEAN LECTURES IN SEATTLE
Please join fellow alumni as Michael E. Brown, dean of the Elliott
School of International Affairs, presents a lecture entitled Peace
and Security in the 21st Century: A Grave New World. Since September
11, 2001, concern for national and international security has grown.
Brown speaks to this issue, focusing on military and non-military
challenges that create security problems; many of which he believes
are being dangerously overlooked in public policy debates. Brown,
who assumed leadership of the Elliott School last summer, is the editor
of a book on this topic.
