ELLIOTT SCHOOL DEAN LECTURES IN SEATTLE
Please join fellow alumni as Michael E. Brown, dean of the Elliott School
of International Affairs, presents a lecture entitled Peace and Security
in the 21st Century: A Grave New World. Since September 11, 2001,
concern for national and international security has grown. Brown speaks
to this issue, focusing on military and non-military challenges that create
security problems, many of which he believes are being dangerously overlooked
in public policy debates. Brown, who assumed leadership of the Elliott
School last summer, is the editor of a book on this topic.
