Westenhofer is the visual supervisor on the team that created the visual effects for the recently released movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Westenhofer and his team are among three teams nominated for the Academy’s Achievement in Visual Effects Award. Westenhofer, who studied the use of dynamics in physically based animation at GW’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, has worked on a number of other films, including: Elf, The Rundown, Men in Black 2, Cats & Dogs, Stuart Little I and II, Frequency, and Babe: Pig in the City.
