PHILADELPHIA AREA COLONIALS TAILGATERS
Come out and cheer on your Colonials! The 2005-2006 basketball season is sure to be energizing. The men’s and women’s basketball teams are hot right now – Under Head Coach Joe McKeown, the women’s team has made the NCAA 12 times in the previous 16 years. Last year, under Head Coach Karl Hobbs, the men’s team won the A-10 championship for the first time in the history of GW and made an appearance at the NCAA.

Save the date! The women’s basketball team marches to Villanova on Thursday, December 1. Area alumni will meet for a tailgate near Villanova’s campus pre-game, and will travel to the stadium together to cheer on the Colonials to a victory over the Wildcats!

Save the date! The men’s basketball team plays against St. Joe’s University Hawks on Saturday, February 11. Catch this A-10 rematch at 2 p.m., with a pre-game tailgate.
