Enjoy a screening of this acclaimed film starring Joan Plowright. "Mrs.
Palfrey at The Claremont" tells the story of friendship between an elegant
elderly widow and a young writer in London. This comedy drama is based on
the best-selling novel of the same name, by the late, celebrated English
author, Elizabeth Taylor with the screenplay written by Ruth Sacks Caplin,
wife of GW Emeritus Trustee Mortimer Caplin. Mrs. Caplin will be the
guest of honor at this event.
