Female Announcer: Americans are proud of our immigration
tradition. But we can have too much of a good thing.
For example, if we'd kept traditional immigration levels of about 200,000 a year, our population would be here [250 million] in 50 years.
But the government is now admitting a million immigrants a year.
At that rate we'll add about a hundred million people in just 50 years.
That's a number America just can't support.
Ask the candidates if one million immigrants a year are too many.
