Bush's presidential campaign in 1999 and 2000 "including Deputy Campaign Manager, senior Bush-Cheney political operative at the 2000 Republican Convention, and leader of the recount efforts in various locations in Florida."  Worked on Capitol Hill including policy director for the late U.S. Sen. Paul D. Coverdell (R-GA), general counsel for the House Republican Conference under then-Chairman John A. Boehner (R-OH), and started out as a professional staff member with the Republican staff of the House Education and Labor Committee.  Associate attorney at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P.  J.D. from Boston College Law School; A.B. in political science from the College of the Holy Cross.
