On the morning of September 23 he participated in a Republican Party of Iowa skeet shoot in Van Meter; and late in the afternoon he was one of the special guests at the Polk County Republicans' GOP Fest at the Blank Park ZooPlex in Des Moines.

the House Republican Caucus at the Capitol.
