Became Speaker of the Georgia House in 2005 after serving as House Floor
Leader and House Majority Leader. Elected to the Georgia House in
1996 from Paulding County; the first Republican elected from that county
since Reconstruction. Appointed to serve as County Attorney for Paulding
County in 1989 and served in that position for 16 years. Joined the
firm of Vinson & Osborne in 1985, made partner two years later, and
continues to practice there (Vinson, Talley, Richardson & Cable).
B.A. in political science from Georgia State University, 1981; J.D. from
Georgia State University’s first law school class, 1984.

16) |

1, 2007; endorsement announced May 24, 2007) Has been involved in
Georgia politics and public affairs for over 18 years. First elected
to the State Senate from the 16th District in 2004; represents five counties
in south metro Atlanta. In 2006, Gov. Sonny Perdue appointed Chance
as Senate Floor Leader. Served as state director to Congressman Mac
Collins. Founded his own public relations firm following the 1996
election cycle. Georgia executive director for Bob Dole for President
in 1996. Has served at every level of the Fayette County Republican
party including chairman for the 1995-96 term. Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in marketing from Georgia State University’s School
of Business.

affairs and grassroots firm. Campaign manager for Georgia State Superintendent

Deputy campaign manager for Sen. Ronnie Chance in 2005. Donnelly
also worked with the Georgia Senate and House Republican Caucuses.

William Woodall is currently

As the Majority Whip, Fleming
holds the second highest position in the House Republican Caucus and is

to the Georgia House of Representatives from Columbia County in 2002.

the next year, and unanimously elected as Chairman of Board in 2001 and

Fleming is a lifelong resident of Harlem, Georgia.

A realtor, Fulcher Young was
recently elected chairman of the Georgia Real Estate Commission, after
previously serving as its vice chairman. She represented the city
of Augusta as its First Lady during the mayoral terms of her husband, Mayor

State Representative Jay Roberts |
Jay Roberts of Ocilla is now
serving his second term in the Georgia State House of Representatives.
He was elected Chair of the Majority Caucus and was appointed by Gov. Sonny

State University with a degree in criminal justice.

as the Senate Minority Leader. Began his public service career as
a Cobb County District Attorney and also served as a Cobb County Commissioner.
Stefan Passantino -
A partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge; serves as head of the firm’s
political law team. He has worked with former Speakers of the United
States House of Representatives Newt Gingrich and J. Dennis Hastert, U.S.
Representative Roy Blunt and former U.S. Representative JC Watts. In addition,
Passantino serves as General Counsel to corporate entities formed by former
Speaker Gingrich and former Congressman Watts. Prior to joining McKenna
Long & Aldridge, Passantino worked as an associate for a New York law
firm.

- Elected statewide as Georgia’s Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner
in 1994. Prior to becoming Commissioner, he owned his own law firm,
Oxendine and Associates. Law degree from Walter F. George School
of Law in 1987. Graduate of Mercer University, where he triple majored
in Christianity, Greek and Political Science.
