Brent Lowder

(announced July 12, 2007)  Lowder has been the campaign's lead California finance person ("The Fix" Feb. 5, 2007).  He was executive director of William E. Simon & Sons, and served as a senior aide to Bill Simon during his 2002 campaign for Governor of California.  Deputy finance director on Matt Fong's unsuccessful campaign for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) in 1998.  Worked on Pete Wilson's gubernatorial campaign in 1994.

Thomas Roberts

(announced July 12, 2007)  Most recently, Roberts worked in the Bush Administration at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  Political director for the Washington State Republican Party in the 2006 election cycle.  During the 2004 election, Roberts served as a field representative for the Bush-Cheney campaign in Washington state and then Ohio.  He directed the 72-hour program in northeastern Mississippi for Haley Barbour's successful gubernatorial bid in 2003.  Graduate of Washington State.

(announced July 12, 2007)  Los Angeles deputy executive director of the New Majority PAC ("broaden the appeal of the Republican Party by promoting a fiscally responsible philosophy toward government and lending resources to Republicans who support an inclusive, mainstream approach toward politics.")  Directed strategy and communications for Keen Butcher's election as head of the California Republican County Chairmen's Association, Feb. 2007.  Regional political director for the California Republican Party, covering the Central Coast, Central Valley, and the Bay Area.  Executive director of the Ventura County Republican Party, 2004-05.

Steve Frank

(announced July 12, 2007)  Frank is a Vietnam veteran whose campaign experience in California dates back to Richard Nixon's run for President in 1960.  Founder and publisher of California Political News and Views (www.capoliticalnews.com), started Nov. 2002.  Deputy political director on Bill Simon's campaign for Governor, 2001-02.  Published newsletter "Frankly Speaking" starting in 1995.  Founder of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies.  President of the California Republican Assembly, 1980-81.  Played active roles in Ronald Reagan's campaign for Governor of California in 1966 and Reagan’s presidential campaigns in 1976 and 1980.  He has also served as the California Republican Party parliamentarian.  B.S. from the University of Redlands.
 
 

Ashley Ingram - Ingram served as head intern with the California GOP Victory 2006.  She worked specifically on youth issues for Gov. Schwarzenegger, and coordinated precinct walks and phone banks, while recruiting high school and college students to volunteer.

Kelly Kuntz - Kuntz worked as an associate at JJ Communications in Redlands, CA, where she helped managed day-to-day operations on political campaigns, public relations, media development, grassroots operations, and fundraising in local government.  Kuntz has also assisted with treasury operations on political campaigns and has coordinated special events, meetings and conferences.

Chris Luna - Luna served as campaign manager on Perkins for Assembly in Salinas.  He previously worked as campaign manager on McShane for Hartnell Trustee in Salinas.   As Central Valley field director on McPherson for Lieutenant Governor, he directed grassroots operations in the San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mono, Mariposa, Merced, Fresno, Tulare, Kings, and Kern Counties.

Cathy Poncabare - Poncabare served as Gov. Schwarzenegger's deputy appointments secretary, where she recruited, screened, interviewed and recommended candidates to serve as appointees to full-time exempt positions and part-time volunteer positions on boards and commissions within the state government.

Krista Powers - Powers worked as a client representative for IBM organizing marketing events and coordinating teams to create client proposals.  She served under New York City Deputy Mayor for Operations, Joseph Lhota, and as a Congressional Page in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Jennifer Saylor - Saylor served under California state field director Kathy Tavoularis on during the 2006 election cycle.  She worked under California GOP executive director Deborah McCall during 2004 election cycle and managed phone banks.

Bryan Watkins -  Watkins has worked as campaign coordinator on Carl DeMaio's campaign for San Diego City Council and worked on Nathan Fletcher's campaign for State Assembly.  He was the deputy field director for San Diego County and Imperial County during Gov. Schwarzenegger's successful 2006 reelection campaign.
