A managing partner of Mercury Public Affairs.  As a media consultant for the NRSC in 2002, Mahoney worked on the independent expenditure campaigns for John Sununu in New Hampshire, Norm Coleman in Minnesota and Lamar Alexander in Tennessee.  A national political advisor to the 1996 Dole for President campaign for the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states.  A senior advisor to all three of George Pataki's gubernatorial campaigns, starting as a top strategist and manager of the 1994 campaign that ousted Gov. Partner in Marcus & Allen, a full service political and public affairs consulting firm based in Richmond; also working with the mail firm Creative Direct.  Chief of staff during Gilmore's term as Governor of Virginia, 1998-2001.  Chief consultant on Gilmore's 1997 gubernatorial campaign; also a consultant to Gilmore in his successful 1993 race for Virginia Attorney General.  As president of MBM Consulting Services, he served as the lead consultant in George Allen's successful 1991 race for Congress and 1993 campaign for Governor and also did work for Congressman Tom Bliley.  Campaign manager for Coleman for Governor, 1989.  Virginia state coordinator for Bush for President, 1988.  Chief of staff to Congressman Tom Bliley, 1981-88.  Graduated from the University of Virginia in 1974 with a degree in American Government.
 
Consultant Christian Josi
A vice-president of the Dezenhall Public Relations firm in Washington, DC.  Executive director of the American Conservative Union from 1999-2002 and of the Conservative Political Action Committee.  Worked on the Quayle for President campaign in 1999 and on Gilmore's successful 1997 gubernatorial race.
 
 

Iowa
State Director Troy Bishop
(started March 2007)  Executive director of the Polk County GOP, 2002.  Worked on Bill Salier's campaign for the 2002 Republican U.S. Senate nomination.    Organization director for Forbes 2000.  In the 1998 cycle Bishop worked on the Lightfoot for Governor campaign in the primary, and then led the Republican Party of Iowa's absentee ballot initiative.   In the 1996 cycle he worked on Steve Grubbs' primary campaign for U.S. Senate, and then worked at the Republican Party of Iowa helping Republicans win back the Iowa Senate.  Started in politics in 1995 as a field rep. on the Gramm for President campaign.  BLS from Iowa State University and an MA in English from Iowa State University.
 

New Hampshire
Sam Pimm was slated to be campaign manager starting March 1, 2007 but that fell through.
Pimm's New Hampshire experience includes campaign manager of Fran Wendleboe's campaign for New Hampshire Republican state chair, 2007; Russell Prescott for Executive Council in 2006; and Fran Wendleboe for Congress in 2002.  Served as executive director of YAF.  B.A. in government from Georgetown University.  First vote was for Reagan in 1976.
