2008 Presidential Campaign Literature



This piece, obtained on an April 2007 visit to Iowa, highlights Sen. Obama's opposition to the war in Iraq.  The front states:
On October 2, 2002, Barack Obama had the courage to stand up to the politics and propaganda, and speak out against the war, even before the invasion of Iraq.
Inside (not shown) is the text of Obama's October 2, 2002 speech at an anti-war rally in Chicago.

The back outlines the Iraq War De-escalation Act of 2007, legislation Obama introduced in January 2007 to remove combat brigades from Iraq by March 31, 2008.
