Howard Dean Takes DNC Helm
Terry McAuliffe Leaves Party Modernized and Financially Sound
Feb. 12, 2005--Outgoing Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe hands the party's new Chairman Howard Dean a statement showing the party is in good financial condition as DNC Vice Chair Linda Chavez-Thompson looks on.  The transition occured during the DNC's winter meeting, held at the Washington Hilton Hotel from Feb. 10-12, 2005.
