The General Takes Capitol Hill


	September 30, 2003--General Wesley Clark spoke with reporters prior to meeting with Democratic congressmen at a Capitol Hill townhouse. Fifty or sixty members attended the meeting. Although Clark announced his candidacy less than two weeks earlier, he had already secured the backing of 10 House members even before the meeting.



	A throng of reporters gathered outside the townhouse waiting for General Clark to arrive. Democratic Members of Congress wanting to hear what Clark had to say, including Rep. Linda Sánchez and Rep.
