Distance Learning in Acquired Brain Injury

To accommodate professionals and students who do not reside in the DC Metropolitan area but are interested in the field of acquired brain injury, The George Washington University has developed an on-line Graduate Certificate Program in Transition Special Education and Brain Injury. Interested individuals depending on their distinct circumstances, may apply for either the on-line Graduate Certificate program or enroll in on-line courses without obtaining a certificate degree. To qualify for the Distance Learning Program, applicants must reside within a one-hundred (100) miles radius of the District of Columbia.

This unique program will offer an opportunity for professionals and para-professionals in the field of brain injury and related fields, as well as graduate students throughout the nation, to take graduate level courses at their convenience on-line and work toward a Graduate Certificate from GW. Students from other universities are welcome to register for our on-line courses and transfer the credits back to their academic program if approved by their university advisor and depending upon their universities’ transfer guidelines. Those interested in only enrolling in the on-line courses without the certificate degree must obtain advanced permission from the Certificate Program Director.
