Students develop a richer understanding of Italy and its language and traditions by immersing themselves directly in the culture during a summer or semester abroad.
Interior architecture and design students routinely work together to create ideas for innovative projects. For example, for "Make a Difference Day", students worked in teams to come up with designs for DC Central Kitchen's Healthy Corners Program.
By developing their own service projects, students find ways to make a difference in struggling societies.
Students can explore George Washington’s life in-depth through an undergraduate course, “George Washington and His World,” which includes visits to the Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.
