A Global Atmosphere

Undergraduate students can engage with faculty members in and around the GW Japanese learning community, including receptions and other special events.

Up-close Cultures

Students develop a richer understanding of Italy and its language and traditions by immersing themselves directly in the culture during a summer or semester abroad.

Creative Opportunities

Interior design students routinely work together to create ideas for innovative projects. For example,  “Lighting the Presidents,” exhibited at GW’s Eckles Library, was designed by students.

Hands-on Projects

By developing their own service projects, students find ways to make a difference in struggling societies.
