Interior design students routinely work together to create ideas for innovative projects. For example,  “Lighting the Presidents,” exhibited at GW’s Eckles Library, was designed by students.

Innovative Offerings

Students can explore George Washington’s life in-depth through an undergraduate course, “George Washington and His World,” which includes visits to the Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.

Research Internships

Geology majors often participate in geological internships and undertake theses. These allow them to work directly with faculty members as they undertake significant research projects that typically lead to publication and/or presentations at professional meetings.
