To help you find your way around when you get here, here are maps of our two Washington, D.C., campuses and our Virginia campus. Each includes a smaller area map to help you locate the campuses within the city. When on campus, though, do not hesitate to ask anyone for directions! Walking tours of the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses are also provided.
The university has launched a new campaign, GW Making History, to demonstrate how members of its community have made an impact on the world using the knowledge and relationships developed while at George Washington. The heart of the campaign is a microsite that features stories of the GW community and how they have made history in big and small ways. You can submit your own stories via YouTube, Flickror record your stories in our mobile television studio that will be at various sites at GW’s three campuses this fall.
The season-ticket holder renewal period for George Washington men's and women's basketball is underway. Renewal applications will be mailed the week of July 23 and fans will have until Friday, August 24 to guarantee their seats. New season-ticket holder applications are also currently being accepted.
Tickets for men's games will include an exhibition game plus all 14 regular-season home contests at the Charles E. Smith Center, highlighted by a visit from Big 12 foe Kansas State on Dec. 8 and a date with Atlantic 10 newcomer Butler once conference play begins in January.
Along with season tickets being available for 15 men's home dates, season seats for the GW women's basketball team under new head coach Jonathan Tsipis are now available. Coach Tsipis, who comes to Foggy Bottom off of back-to-back national championship game appearances as associate head coach at Notre Dame, was hired in April and his team's 2012-13 schedule will be announced later this summer.

GW President Steven Knapp has made alumni outreach a priority. His initiative of “creating a community for life” is focused on strengthening the bonds between students, alumni, parents, and the University.
The GW alumni community comprises more than 250,000 alumni living in 150 countries around the world. These graduates are encouraged to mentor students, help students find internships and jobs, attend events, network with one another, and to act as advocates for GW. Alumni also provide substantial financial support to the University.
