Early Retirement |
An employee is eligible at age 55 with a minimum of 20 years of full-time equivalent service
credit or at age 60 with a minimum of 10 years full-time equivalent service credit. |
Submit his or her intent to retire in writing
to their supervisor with a minimum of 90 days of advance
notice.

Resignation |
An oral or written statement of voluntary intent to terminate employment with the University.
An employee who fails to provide 10 or more business days advance notice will be considered
to have abandoned his or her position and thus ineligible for rehire at the University. |
Submit resignation to his or her supervisor
at least 10 days before the intended date of termination.
(Note: The letter should state the reason for and effective
date of termination.)
