Considering enrolling in courses while employed at GW? The University offers our faculty, staff, and research personnel in a benefit eligible position (both regular full and part-time) an outstanding benefit that covers the better part of tuition expenses. The tuition benefit is available to employees enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs as well as non-degree-seeking employees. Under the benefit, 96 percent of tuition (not to exceed current Columbian College rate) is paid for eligible employees. Furthermore, spouses (opposite sex and same sex), domestic partners (opposite sex and same sex), common-law spouses and dependent children also receive substantial remission coverage, which increases with tenure.
GW also participates in the Tuition Exchange (TE) Scholarship Program. TE is a national organization that offers scholarships to eligible employees’ dependent children between 18 to 24 years of age and attending other member colleges and universities throughout the country. GW’s participation gives several students the opportunity to study at one of over 600 member institutions. For more information, please click here.
