Staff in Action Contest

Colonial Community aims to build a sense of community among the staff and faculty of the George Washington university.  In honor of Employee Appreciation Day, we want to celebrate what it means to be a GW faculty or staff member.  Submit your favorite photo of you or your GW colleague(s) to be entered into a raffle for a Kindle Fire.  Your photo will be displayed on Colonial Community’s Instagram page and may also be used for other Colonial Community or University Human Resources materials.

Digital photos may be submitted to yourlife@gwu.edu. Entries must be received by Friday, March 1, at 5:00 p.m. EDST.  Include your full name, department, work phone number, and a caption for your picture in your email.

Details

You may submit up to five photos.  Each photo will be counted as a separate raffle entry, allowing you up to five chances to win.

Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than yourself. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.

Photos must be appropriate for posting on a public website. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered.  Colonial Community retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.

By entering the raffle, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed in Colonial Community or University Human Resources materials, including online and print communications
