UnitedHealthcare now offers you myuhc.com® mobile so you can access myuhc.com when you’re on the go. Just log into myuhc.com from your Smartphone browser and begin using it to check account balances, search for doctors, and find your deductible and out-of-pocket amounts. You can also view, fax and e-mail an electronic image of your health plan ID card.

DocGPS
The DocGPS application for Apple’s iPhone enables users to tailor their search to their specific health plan and locate nearby doctors, clinics and hospitals within the UnitedHealthcare network using the GPS functionality of iPhone 3G and 3GS.
After locating a doctor or hospital, the application can then show the office location on a map, provide detailed directions, and enable the user to call the medical professional or facility with a single tap on the search result.

OptumizeMe
Getting healthier can be a challenge - so let OptumizeMe help with that challenge. With OptumizeMe, you can challenge friends, family, co-workers and even total strangers to contests designed to help everyone get healthy. You can create your own health challenges based on your personal interests or you can pick from our list of existing health challenges. You can even join others’ challenges, too.
Then the fun really begins. OptumizeMe is an app that is built around the power of social networking. You can invite friends, family or the entire state to be a part of your challenge. You can motivate your teammates or you can trash talk your opponents. You can post your progress to Facebook. You can make it high stakes by rewarding the winner with whatever prize you think would make the challenge worth winning.
