By getting a single flu shot you can protect yourself against the seasonal flu, H1N1 and other forms of the flu virus. Flu shots are also available at CVS Pharmacy, Rite-Aid Pharmacy, Target Pharmacy and Walgreens Pharmacy at no cost for faculty and staff who participate in any of GW's medical plans. This also includes your spouse/domestic partner and dependent children if they are covered under your GW health plan. Do your part to fight the flu. Getting vaccinated doesn't protect just you, but it protects everyone around you, including your family, friends and colleagues. Stop by a participating pharmacy near your work or home today, or one of the on campus flu clinics, and get the shot. It is easy and convenient.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that influenza activity remains high in the United States and this may continue for some time. There are at least six participating CVS and Walgreens pharmacies within walking distance of the Foggy Bottom campus and at least two within a few miles of the Virginia Science and Technology Campus.
