La Leche League at GW
Join the new series of La Leche League of Washington, DC meetings at The George Washington University.
La Leche League is a group designed to provide mothers and
mothers-to-be with breastfeeding information and support.
League Leaders are experienced nursing mothers who are well
prepared to answer your questions at the meetings or on the
telephone. Monthly meetings are your chance to discuss the
ups and downs of breastfeeding and related mothering topics
in a supportive setting. LLL provides encouragement,
information, and education to promote a better understanding
of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy
development of the baby and the mother.
