Colonial Communi Weekly Listserv

Does your department or division have a great event happening on campus? Are you looking for another marketing tool? Submit your event for the Colonial Community Weekly Listserv.

Purpose

To encourage faculty and staff to take advantage of the diverse social, educational, and cultural events and resources that occur within the GW community.
To aid in disseminating information about events and programs that may be of benefit to those within the GW community.

The listserv is sent out weekly and includes specific information about upcoming events and programs that may be of interest to GW Faculty and Staff who opt into the listserv.

If you are a George Washington University faculty or staff member you may opt into receiving the Colonial Community Listserv each week. Please email yourlife@gwu.edu to be added to the distribution list.

This listserv is designed for GW faculty and staff only. Requests to be added to the distribution list from non-university persons will not be fulfilled.

Submission Guidelines

Please read the following carefully before submitting.

Eligibility Requirements:

Events and opportunities posted to this listserv are generally those affiliated with GW only. The final decision to include an item in the listserv will be made by the listserv administrator. Submissions will not be accepted from non-university persons or organizations.

Requirements for Submission:

Listserv text should be limited to 75 words or less with contact information and/or a website address provided for employees to get more information.
The title of the event you provide will be used as the heading for your submission. If you prefer a more descriptive heading, please include your preferred heading in the text you submit.
The listserv is distributed through email every Wednesday and submissions for the listserve must be submitted by 5:00 pm the Friday before. It is best to submit program or event details as early as possible to ensure that item will be included.
All images or logos to be included must be e-mailed to yourlife@gwu.edu
To keep the weekly listserv brief, the submissions included in the listserv will be determined according to priority and timing of submission. You will be notified if your submission cannot be included or if changes are made to your submission.
Inclusion of non-Colonial Community events is provided as a service to the GW community. The listserv does not assume responsibility for the implementation of any events included.
