  • Columbian College of Arts and Sciences: Since its founding nearly 180 years ago, CCAS has been GW’s academic engine and the cornerstone of the campus community. The college provides an exceptional liberal arts education while bringing research directly into the classroom to enrich the learning experience.
  • Elliott School of International Affairs: One of the world’s most dynamic professional schools of international affairs, the Elliott School trains undergraduate and graduate students through in-depth analysis of international economic, political, scientific and cultural issues.

  • Law School: GW Law School is the oldest in the District of Columbia and one of the largest in the country. Its takes advantage of its location to provide special opportunities to students interested in government service or private practice, providing access to clerkships in federal agencies and the District’s many law firms.
  • School of Medicine and Health Sciences: Internationally known as a pioneer in medical education, research and clinical care, GW’s medical school is a recognized leader in emergency medicine, neuroscience, cancer treatment and cardiac care.
  • Mount Vernon Legacy Fund – Maintains a tradition of learning by supporting initiatives such as the Women’s Leadership Program and the University Writing Program.
