Milgroyim/Rimon
Milgroyim/Rimon(1922-1924) has been called the most beautiful art and literature journal ever to appear. Edited by Marc and Rachel Wischnitzer, Milgroyim/Rimon was simultaneously published in Yiddish and Hebrew. Milgroyim/Rimon was both a vehicle for avant-garde Jewish art in the 1920s and the center of the Eastern European Jewish artist colony in Berlin. The journal published Yiddish and Hebrew translations of notable contemporary essays on art and art history, featuring such figures as Marc Chagall, Nathan Altman, and El Lissitzky.
