We are conveniently located near the Foggy Bottom/GWU metrorail stop (blue and orange lines). Numerous bus lines, local and express, which serve the central business district, also provide access to the campus.

Hours
Regular service hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Mondays through Fridays.
However, service hours may be affected by special events or staff scheduling issues. Check the Department's blog, Gelman Library's hours page, or telephone (202) 994-7549 to confirm service hours before planning a research trip.
Special appointments may be made for access at other times by application to the Public Services Librarian for the department. The department provides staff assistance for research and reference, and will assist researchers in obtaining reproductions of its material when possible. In addition, staff may provide bibliographic instruction for individuals or groups.
