African-Americana Research Center

Supporting the African-Americana Research Center

The African-Americana Research Center requires an endowment to support a permanent curatorial position and to acquire and make African-American research materials available and accessible on the campus of The George Washington University, around the nation, and throughout the global community.

Your financial gifts will launch the African-Americana Research Center, creating a new era at The George Washington University. The Gelman Library celebrates the involvement of all donors, including alumni, friends, scholars, and others wishing to support this important initiative.

The Center has many naming gift opportunities as well as options for bequests and personal and corporate endowments.
