Printing

To print any print job in Gelman Library, a patron must have either

1.) a GWorld with Colonial Cash or Debit Dollars

OR

2.) a courtesy card with sufficient funds to print their job. Courtesy cards are available for purchase from automated Value Transfer Stations (VTS) located on the first and third floors of Gelman Library. Each card itself costs $1, and the VTS accepts only bills. Once you have a card, you can use the VTS to add bills to the card in order to print your job.

  • GWorld users can also use the VTS to add funds onto their GWorld card, or you may add money using a credit card online on the GWorld site.
  • Printing fees are $.09 per printed page (or per printed side of a page, if double-sided printing is available).
  • Computer labs on the first and sixth floor of Gelman are intended for Internet use and are not equipped with a full suite of applications. While you may print materials from the Internet, including course reserve readings, GW users need to use the basement level computer lab in Gelman to print documents that require Microsoft applications.
  • More information about printing at GW is available at GWPrints.
